Below is a summary of the key problems and proposed solutions. 🛰️ Remote Access Problem Our remote Drone Display teams are unable to connect to the company network when all teams are deployed. This is because our current system only allows 12 users to connect at once, but we now have 15 teams. As a result, some staff are locked out, which delays project delivery. Additionally, some employees have been sharing login details to bypass this limit, which is unsafe and could expose our systems to external threats. Solution: We recommend increasing the number of VPN licenses and upgrading to a more secure system that prevents login sharing and protects our data. 🖨️ Office Network Problem Our file and print server often becomes unavailable when many people are in the office or after a restart. This is due to outdated equipment and software that can’t handle the current workload. Solution: We recommend replacing the old router with a business-grade model and updating the server software to improve reliability and protect sensitive data. 👥 Staff Awareness Currently, staff receive only basic training during induction. This is not enough to keep up with modern threats. Solution: We recommend implementing regular cybersecurity training to help staff recognise risks and respond appropriately.
